The 2016 BMW X4 XDrive 28I is a four-door crossover with coupelike styling. The BMW X4 is a prime example of BMW’s obsession with niche-filling. It’s a large SUV but it’s also a coupé. The X4 comes equipped as standard with all-wheel drive, that splits power 40/60, front to rear. The system can shift all the power to the rear wheels if needed, which makes it more of a performance all-wheel-drive setup. The X4 has a great engine, a wonderful interior, it handles superbly and it’s safe and bristling with technology. It is a vehicle that absolutely nobody needs, but that’s unlikely to prevent it being one that plenty of people want. The BMW X4 xDrive28i uses a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder rated at 240 horsepower and 350 Nm torque.
