The BMW 218I Active Tourer is BMW’s mini MPV or ‘Sports Activity Tourer’
It is a super sensible people hauler suitable for multiple purposes. There are loads of room for things and passengers and it’s even pretty fun to drive.
Euro NCAP, the European authority that tests the safety performance of cars, has given the 2 Series Active Tourer top marks.
The elephant in the room is the styling. Its tall shape is great for headroom and sitting in.
BMW’s continued use of the MPV shape is a win for sensibility in the face of the SUVs pretty much taking over this segment.
If you’re after an MPV, and not an SUV, the 2 Series Active Tourer is easy to recommend. Make no mistake, this BMW 218I Active Tourer is very nice to drive and is very practical.
